Course description
This course is aimed at business leaders and professionals to explain the difference between commercial acumen and awareness. It will relate to different business situations and scenarios with frameworks.
This Commercial Acumen training course begins with a definition of commercial acumen and awareness and the difference between the two and will go on to relate these to four different business situations.
Analysing the commercial environment will be explored through a number of models and frameworks, such as PESTLE, STEEPLE and SWOT with real business scenarios; business development and growth can also be analysed with the same models and frameworks. However, the Ansoff Matrix is added to the list; identifying business development opportunities can be analysed using SWOT; strategic alignment can be achieved through the development of a Mission Statement; collaboration and business partnerships can be analysed.
Finally, the criteria for development a successful business case are described.
