Designed in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) , this online Slips and Trips training is suitable for anyone working in an environment where slips, trips and falls may occur such as warehouses, offices, construction sites, retail units and much more. The CPD approved training includes an instant digital certificate on completion.
Our introductory course has been developed in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the UK government agency responsible for the regulations of workplace health, safety and welfare.
This online introductory slips and trips course provides an entry into the topic that helps you cover the basics, and includes information that is widely applicable to anyone in a working environment.
We also offer Slips and Trips: Intermediate | Advanced
It addresses what we understand by slips and trips as well as how cleaning can help to minimise the risk they pose. The course is also personalised for various types of workplaces and work environments to meet the needs of your individual business.
The course has been designed to ensure an easy, engaging learner journey for you. It includes a wide variety of resources and is broken down into 11-bite sized modules that can be accessed in any order, allowing you to tailor the learning to your needs.
In the development of this course, we have worked with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) who have provided both knowledge content and reviewed the material we have produced.
The HSE are the UK government agency responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare, and for research into occupational risks in the UK.
Accreditation
This course is accredited by CPD. The certificates, awarded upon successful completion, can be used to log your hours against.
Target audience
This course is aimed at anyone working in a healthcare role – every workplace has its own hazards that put people at potential risk of slips, trips and falls.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Test and certificate
Each end of course test consists of 15 multiple choice questions. Learners are required to achieve a 75% pass mark, and, if necessary, may attempt the test six times at no extra cost.
If learners do not achieve the 75% pass mark, further attempts may be given by contacting our support team.
Learners will be able to download a digital certificate on completion of each course. This can be printed, and we suggest you keep it for your records.
