This course looks at Continuing Professional Development, what it is, how important it is and how it works. It includes the advantages of CPD and how to set appropriate targets and goals, through your personal development plan.
It will help you to write clear objectives and set SMART goals. The course describes how a good leader or manager can support their employees with CPD planning.
Action planning is part of the CPD process and the course reviews a five stage approach to action planning.
The course concludes with some useful tips for employees about the benefits of the CPD process.
On completion of this course, learners will have a good understanding of and be able to:
